More than satisfied with Prowall’s work on the Chum Chum Road project, Ultimate Design and Build contracted us again to install timber retaining walls as part of a new residential build. With work already underway, the retaining wall needed to be installed much later into the project than usual, which presented significant challenges. As it was a complex multi-level build, the retaining walls needed to hold the driveway, while on the opposite side of the garage to hold the stairs. This meant that piers of at least 3.5M deep had to be drilled in fill material to ensure they had enough strength to withstand the varying loads of cars and pedestrians above. Our solution was to bring in our large 4.5t machine to make light work out of a difficult challenge and employ our expert team to minimise risks and avoid potential hazards.
