Ultimate Design and Build contracted us to install a 1.2 metre high concrete retaining wall for a Hotondo Home build. Right from the start, this project presented significant challenges such as a steep slope on the block, rural fencing making boundaries almost inaccessible, and working in close proximity to the slab, which all needed to be mapped out and overcome from the start. As many trades could not work until these walls were done and compacted fill placed behind it, time was certainly a priority for our team. With extensive surveying, we employed line pumps and excavators to carefully lower materials to a workable level. From there, we meticulously transferred points and references to ensure the precision required for this project was achieved on program and on budget.
